Community of Edinburgh RSEs
Purpose
The aim is to establish a self-sustaining Community of Edinburgh Research Software Engineers (RSEs) who periodically come together to determine best practices and support fellow RSEs in Edinburgh and wider afield. We are doing this through several meetings aimed to take place at regular intervals.
- Our twelfth meeting will be part of the Digital Research Services’ HPC in focus day on 24/10/2024 at 15:00-16:30 in Room 1.19, Murchison House, the King’s Buildings.
- Our eleventh meeting is a face-to-face in room G.06 at 50 George Square on 07/08/24.
- Our tenth meeting was a virtual meeting on zoom on 22/05/24.
- Our ninth meeting was a face-to-face at Roslin on 31/05/23.
- Our eighth meeting was a virtual meeting on zoom on 26/04/23.
- Our seventh meeting was be a face-to-face meeting at the Bayes on 15/03/23.
- Our sixth meeting was a virtual meeting held on 13/05/20.
- Our fifth meeting was held at Grant Institute at the King’s Buildings on 18/02/20.
- Our fourth meeting, was held at the Chancellor’s Building in the BioQuarter on 08/10/19.
- Our third meeting was held at Argyle House on 25/01/19.
- Our second meeting was held at the ECA on 21/11/18.
- Our first meeting was held at the Bayes Centre on 26/09/18.
